Plans for the future
Sandstone is deeply embroiled in plans not only for the remainder of this year but also for the first half (and beyond) of 2010, looking towards an expansion in output. Please keep visiting the web site. We will have announcements to make in the not too distant future.
More immediately, we will be launching Craig Weldon’s wonderful The Weekend Fix on Thursday September 3rd in The Research Club Bar, 13 University Gardens, Glasgow G12 8QH (6.00-8.00pm or thereby). The event is open and we hope you can manage along.
Not before time we have a woman blogger in Moira Forsyth; commencing as soon as she can get down to it. We recognise we don’t have enough of a female presence in our lists and are working on it.
Sandstone Press has taken a whole panel in the Edinburgh International Book Festival Book Tent. It is ideally placed, angled towards the door, so you can hardly miss it. Our books are already streaming out so hurry while stocks last. One or two have already been signed by the authors - always worth looking out for.
