John Allen’s book CAIRNGORM JOHN: My Life in Mountain Rescue is now in the shops. John has already appeared on BBC Radio 4 MIDWEEK. On Sunday 6th April he will be appearing on BBC 2’s THE ADVENTURE SHOW, interviewed and walking with Cameron McNeish http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/outdoors/programmes/adventure_show/ Reviews will be appearing the the national press and in the climbing magazines soon.

Behind the scenes we have been preparing the web site in readiness for a programme of author blogs. At the beginning of April we will begin with some inhouse material on our coming books and progress. Shortly afterwards Ron McMillan, author of the successful BETWEEN WEATHERS: Travels in 21st century Shetland, (http://ronmcmillan.googlepages.com/) will be writing on his eventful life on the Pacific Rim, and his love for Shetland. Other authors will be following, and a few guests. You will be hearing still more from Ron in due course, and in ways that will surprise even his keenest readers.
