New books and outlets!

Posted by RLD on 13th February 2009

Sandstone Press is delighted to announce that we will be publishing four more books in the coming year, two in July and two in October, for adult learners of Gaelic.  Working again in partnership with out friends on the Gaelic Books Council (http://www.gaelicbooks.org) and editor Donald John MacLeod we will keep you informed by means of this web site.  The books are a Gaelic development and not quite the same as the Vista Series, our great contribution to adult literacy in Britain (http://www.literacytrust.org.uk).

We are also delighted to announce that Sandstone books will be available in many new locations this year.  Among others you can expect to find tham on the ferry services to the Northern and Western Isles of Scotland (wwwNorthLinkFerries.co.uk & http://www.calmac.co.uk).

Now please do take time to explore this web site and don’t foorget to click on the wird ‘Hinterland’ at the bottom of each book page to reach a special zone of information and entertainment on that special book.
