New developments at Sandstone

Posted by RLD on 23rd January 2009

Sandstone Press is delighted to welcome Broomfield Books as our new representative for Kent, East and West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, and London.

We are thrilled that our books can now become easier of access and much more visible to readers in those territories.  A great readership is at the centre of all our thinking.  Broomfield’s details will soon join those of Don Morrison Publisher Sales for Scotland and Silvermine International (http://www.silvermineinternational.com) for the US and Canada in the CONTACT section of this web site.  There is more in the pipeline.

FICKLE MAN got a great reception at the Glasgow University Robert Burns Conference last weekend.  Our colleagues in The Drouth will have it at the RSE Burns Conference on Friday 23rd and at the launch of DROUTH 30 at Streetlevel Gallery (http://www.streetlevelphotoworks.org) in Glasgow on the same night.  If you are in the area please go along.  If you prefer you can easily buy FICKLE MAN on Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fickle-Man-Robert-Century-Non-Fiction/dp/1905207271/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1232700049&sr=8-1).

At the same time our own team will be at the internationally famous Strathpeffer Burns Supper and, the following day, at the Saltire Society Burns Lunch and the Highland Hospice Burns Supper.  From sales generated at these three Highland events Sandstone Press will be donating £5 per copy to the Highland Hospice charity.  Please support if you can.

A BEND IN THE NILE is gradually making its way around the country and is already available in all branches of Waterstones.
